Probably there are not many gamers who can remember a game called Ugh!, where a prehistoric chap with mad eyes was pedaling his flying machine to ferry his passenger to a right cave.
For that time the game was quite entertaining. The time moved on. New monsters appeared in the game industry, but there are still people who miss those simple games they played some ten years ago. The ones who like Nostalgy series games will probably be glad to know that now they have a chance to play an Ugh! remake. ZAGZAG company along with Alawar Entertainment published it as Ancient Taxi. I can say that it’s more then just an Ugh! remake. The gameplay in Ancient Taxi is more interesting not only because of nice graphics and smooth object moving, but simply because it has several game modes with different difficulty. Even a child can play this game using just a mouse. For advanced players I suggest Classic Mode. When you’re playing Ancient Taxi, in case you wound a passenger with an aircraft and the passenger falls down the cliff into the water, then you still have a chance. You may descend, alight down on water and rescue the poor guy. Unfortunately, not everybody can be rescued. Very old prehistoric people cannot swim very well when pushed off the cliff into the water. Probably, the old guys go west before they reach the water surface because of a thill-strike. How much you get depends on how fast and how carefully you ferry the passenger. Several levels take even flying under the water. When you come across a tree and can see a stone nearby, you may take the stone and, using a Space Bar, throw it onto a tree. The tree will then cast something delicious. From then on you may use such a stone not only to beat something useful out of a tree, but as a weapon against dinosaurs. The deeper you go into the game the more dangers await you on the way. Look out when you notice a pilot-kamikaze approaching you in a rocket. It’s hard to understand, what place they came from in the prehistoric time, but it’s funny to watch the clash when they attack you. I even suspect that the kamikaze won’t die. And one more thing, I got pretty sick and tiered of that wretch. I should draw your attention to one good feature of the game – you can save it :) All in all the game is quite exciting. With seasons changing and levels varying greatly you won’t get bored. Just play and have an eye on your watch. Related Links:
