FilePocket 1.1 is storage and distribution solution for people who need to make their files available on the Internet, but don’t have their own website or access to FTP server. This service is perfect for freelancers who work remotely and need to share their work, but the files are too big to be sent via e-mail.
This is how FilePocket 1.1 works. A person selects files on his or her computer and clicks to send them to a remote server. After the file transfer is complete, they are posted to a website with an easy-to-remember address. The files become available for sharing/downloading immediately. If necessary, a person may opt to make some files inaccessible or to protect them with a password. Another important advantage for people who use this service is that they can have their own customizable web page. Most file storage services don’t offer any web interface, while free web hosting companies have very strict file size and monthly transfer limits. FilePocket users can transfer files up to 100MB and monthly downloads are limited to 1000 MB. Web space and downloads upgrade are available for registered users for one time fee. FilePocket works with all file types and can be used to create a landing page, storage page, family photo album or a number of other purposes. Related Links:
