CamUniversal is a powerful software solution for video capturing devices, like IP and web cameras. The program supports an unlimited number of devices and is capable of recording, live broadcasting over the Internet, relaying images to PC(s) over local area networks and performing surveillance tasks.

Using web cameras for surveillance and monitoring is growing more and more popular every year, especially among businesses and home owners. Any person who owns a web camera can turn it into a motion detector with CamUniversal. When the program detects motion, it can start recording, capturing images, executing specified applications, sounding an alarm, uploading files to a webserver or notifying a web camera owner with an e-mail, among other things. The log of all events is being kept as well.

CamUniversal works with multiple cameras simultaneously, with all functions running parallel. The program comes with a scheduler, so all tasks can be programmed in advance. In addition, program can be set up to monitor only certain areas for motion during specified days or time intervals.

The simplicity and the low price of CamUniversal make it an ideal solution for parents who want to keep an eye on their kids at home while in office, for vacationers who are concerned about their home safety while being away, or for shop owners to observe their shops. The integrated network server client component makes it possible to view all server-connected cameras at the client PCs. Importantly, all functions are available for these remote cameras too.
