How to go coral reef scuba diving during office break with no scuba gear ... and no ocean.
Water Life 2.44 is a new spectacular 3D simulator of underwater aquatic life. And no, it's not just another 3D aquarium screensaver. In fact, Water Life 2.44 is quite a bit different. First, Water Life 2.44 allows a person to "swim" any direction he or she chooses. As one moves the mouse, it changes the direction of motion, creating an illusion of a real underwater voyage. Unlike other "fish tank" screensavers, Water Life 2.44 has no visible boundaries and thus offers new stunning undersea scenery with every turn. Second, Water Life 2.44 comes with an impressive (perhaps even overwhelming) number of tropical fish species that were created with the help of marine biologists. In addition to these ocean dwellers, this screensavers comes with 3D models of green algae and kelp. Plus, the bottom of the ocean is littered with mysterious objects and remnants of unknown creatures. Finally Water Life 2.44 is goes remarkably easy on the system resources, even though it's a true 3D application with complicated models and hundreds of sophisticated textures. The screensaver runs smoothly even on older computers as long as they come with a video card that supports 3D. Related Links:
