Reg Organizer makes your PC faster.

After hard using of my PC for a long time, installing-uninstalling of a great many of various programs and games, my system appears to be like a huge slow-moving hippopotamus. Its performance became low and irritating enough to make me find some software for the system optimization. As you already understood in particular the effuse registry of my system was the cause of decreased performance.

A great number of registry optimization programs I found in the Internet are quite similar, except Reg Organizer.

This software created by ChemTable Software is a powerful system registry and configuration files manager that allows you to view, edit and clean the registry and preview registry files you want to import including the ability to preview files directly from Windows Explorer.

As distinct from other same programs this one can do required job quicker and better. For example using Reg Organizer it is easy to install or uninstall software correctly, to uninstall accurately an application you removed manually before, to monitor and change a startup process and, of course, deal with registry keys. And it seems that all possible things to do with keys you can imagine are available due this software.

It possess so many functions that it seems to be a quite hard to adopt them for using. But it is only at the first glance because the authors worked well at the graphical interface and help file to make our using enjoyable.

The main window contains panels with tabs and frequently used buttons responding for the special commands. It is necessary to note that all commands in the application are united into four main groups. Each group corresponds to one of the tabs in the left-hand panel of the Reg Organizer main window and to one of the Mode menu items. Each tab or item represents one of the program's working modes. Thanks to this thought-out interface you can easily switch between the tabs and corresponding modes you need.

So, let me describe some of basic modes of the application.

Registry Cleanup Mode
This mode allows thoroughly cleaning the system registry and optimizing the operating system performance. Using this mode you can specify the programs to run at Windows startup, analyze the shared dynamic link libraries, clean the registry from junk by finding and deleting references to non-existent files and folders, access the non-documented Windows features and more.

Registry Editing Mode
In this mode Reg Organizer works as a powerful registry editor similar to Microsoft Regedit. Using the toolbar buttons and the corresponding Registry menu items it is easy to create, delete and rename various registry keys and values. Besides, you can export the selected registry key to a registry file, get additional information about it etc.

File Editing Mode
This one is used to manage various configuration files. This Reg Organizer feature allows you to search for incorrect or unnecessary files on hard disks of your computer, and then correct the errors or remove the files if possible. After the search is done and the table at the bottom is filled with files matching the criteria, you can remove or repair them by pressing corresponding buttons.

Search and Replace Mode
This mode offers you a variety of options for searching through the registry and replacing records matching the specified criteria

Software Uninstall Mode
A powerful tool allowing you to remove unwanted applications from your computer including application files, application data saved in the system registry and system configuration files, libraries installed by given application to the system folders etc. Besides, this mode allows for displaying changes made by the application to each of the system components.

This may be very useful when dealing with programs that do not include uninstaller that allows for fast and proper application uninstalling. There are situations when native application uninstaller fails to remove all the data associated with give application, which results in system registry being cluttered with unwanted information.

This mode can be used not only to uninstall applications but also in order to monitor changes to the system that occurred due to some action taken, i.e. application start.

You can also use this mode to create registry snapshots. Any two registry snapshots can be compared at any time in order to get the list of differences between them.

Moreover, if want to improve your registry’s working without going into the root of the matter you can use Automatic Registry Cleanup and Finding Erroneous References and removing or repairing them.

So, I think it’s too little of free space in this review to describe completely all features of this wholesome program. Reg Organizer is really powerful tool for a fine tuning of your system.
