PicaJet 2.5 (a.k.a "Picasa Killer") now comes with plug-ins for popular online photo sharing services. The first two services that are now fully supported by the software are Fotki.Com and Flickr.com, a Yahoo! company and currently the largest online photo community today judged by the number of active members.

Essentially the plug-ins facilitate automatic one-click image uploading directly from PicaJet (free edition) or PicaJet FX ($39.95) directly to member accounts at Fotki.Com or Flickr.Com.

The main advantage of this newly added feature is the fact that people don’t need enter image names, descriptions, keywords or change image size – all this data is automatically imported from PicaJet. This is really important, because since most people have hundreds or even thousands of photographs on their hard-drives, and entering name and description for each can be a real drag.

Another new and very handy plug-in available for PicaJet is a HTML message generator that allows folks to e-mail their images not as attachments that can be blocked or cut off by anti-spam or anti-spyware software, but rather inside the body of the message, guaranteeing delivery of these photos.
