ChatStat software is an All-in-one program, a Swiss knife of live chat support software. All its instruments and features serve one mission—customer support service. ChatStat is very suitable for those who strongly believe that business does not end with the purchase, but just begins with it. ChatStat helps to organize efficient customer support service, by text, voice, or instant messenger.
But don’t you dare treat ChatStat as an extended instant messenger. It can also be an instrument for business planning, marketing research, hardware need prediction, and many other things. For this you have to pay the price: get ready to sacrifice at least 50Mb of RAM for it. As we said already, ChatStat mission is your customer support service, both for existing and potential clients. You download the program for free, install it on all your operators’ working places, then add a small html-code insert in the code of your web-sites (the free version can support as many of your sites as you want, by the way). Your customers visit your web-site, and if they have any questions or comments, they connect with your customer service online, or using any chat program, or any instant messenger, or even VoIP calling (enable this feature for only $10 a month). How does it look like from the client’s side? They come to your site, using certain keywords and a certain browser, from a certain geographic location. The client has a question about your product or service, and voila! They see a modestly-looking button with big capabilities. The button reads ‘Call Me Now!’ They push the magic button, type magic words (their telephone number, the name, a short description of the problem to clear). In a moment or so a magic genie (actually, one of your trained operators) calls the client back and provides all the support necessary. Can you suggest something more efficient and faster, which includes all the features described below? If you can, please send me a line and surprise me greatly. Instant Messenger Aggregator only?As I already mentioned, ChatStat fully aggregates several instant messengers on one panel, to make them easily accessible from one operator working place. ChatStat site compares it with Trillian, calling it ‘Trillian-Like Instant Messanger Aggregator’. However, it can be a bit misleading for an inexperienced user. On the one hand, ChatStat is much heavier than Trillian, taking much more of your HDD and RAM and Internet traffic. True, it can hardly be useful for a teenager who chats for fun. That kind of user will definitely say ‘Oh, that’s too bulky for me, I’ll stick to Trillian.’ On the other hand, aggregating instant messengers is just one of many capabilities of ChatStat, even of its free version. The teenagers do not have to provide customer support, that is why they do not need ChatStat. It limits the target market for ChatStat, but also makes it the best player in the market niche for small and medium businesses which sell products and services online.Multi-site SupportThat is one of the truly exceptional features of ChatStat. You can place your magic buttons (Call Me Now and Chat Online) on as many of your sites as you want, the number of operators remaining the same. The competing programs like LiveHelper, Velaro, LiveChatNow charge heavily for this.MovingGraph™Moving graphs? What can it be? Well, that is the case when one picture’s worth a thousand words. Download ChatStat and see it for yourself. The system shows many aspects of the site statistics, beginning from the number of visits at a definite time period and ending with exit poll results. The marketing data like average time per page or top pages are just a couple of mouse clicks away. For example, you can browse the actual graph and see the tendency for the working load for your operators, which will help you plan their working hours effectively, hiring part-time extra people for the afternoon or late evening.Features On DemandSo the program works, and does not ask money for the capabilities for which the competitors charge heavily? All those niceties given out for free? You must be kidding! Where is the hook? There must be one!Relax, ChatStat Co. is not a charitable foundation, at least they have not founded one yet :). They just believe that their business is to help the clients, not to strip them. ChatStat makes money together with the client, by offering features on demand. They include Heavy Traffic Site, Operator Pooling, Campaign &ROI Tracking, to name a few. You can switch any of them on for a very reasonable fee of $10 a month. But before you may want to compare how reasonable it is. The choice is constantly broadening, because the current clients constantly comment on ChatStat, and the team quickly implements their comments into new features. Side effectsChatStat program constantly monitors the system and registers all the changes. That is why it has to constantly renew all the event information, be it a new visitor on your site or a changed status of your operator. This procedure requires about 100kB of traffic per minute. Not too noticeable for a broadband connection, but if you are still dial-upping, it can pose a problem.TeamOne of the strongest features of ChatStat is probably the team, which is developing it. They are very sensitive to the user comments, and Nick Matina, ChatStat CEO, is always present on various forums and chats devoted to live chat support systems (definitely using his own ChatStat for it J), answering questions quickly and fully. You can ask ChatStat a question too, and see for yourself how well they practice what they preach—efficient customer support service.Related Links:
