It allowed Dmitriy Primochenko, the developer of this software, to create a specific algorithm which physically repairs bad clusters. This way of the restoration is preformed in the HDD Regenerator application. Using a specific sequence of high and low signals directed by the algorithm the program switches magnetization of the bad sectors on the hard disk drive surface to the right condition.

Options of scanning
To use the application on a computer or a laptop with installed Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 operating system, you need to follow next steps:

At first, it is needed to create the Bootable Regenerating Diskette.
Then boot your PC from the Bootable Regenerating Diskette that you have created to start the scanning.

If floppy drive is not available on your computer or you use a laptop make sure you can:

Install HDD Regenerator on any computer with floppy drive and CDRW drive available.

Create the Bootable Regenerating Diskette.

Using the bootable regenerating diskette create bootable CD

Boot your laptop from the bootable CD that you have created to start the process.

Results of scanning
When the process of the regeneration has begun diagnostic information tab appears on a screen. You will see a graphical interpretation of the process stage and a map demonstrating a location of found bad sectors on the hard disk surface. The legend below that info tab explains what sectors are damaged and what ones have been regenerated. Unregistered version of the program fixes only the first found bad sector.

Estimation
So HDD Regenerator uses new approach to the hard disks reparation process what raises this program to the one level higher than other similar applications. Moreover, it saves your information and works under all versions of Windows operation system.
