This article is for those who like to listen to the radio broadcasting in the Internet. If you’re connected to the Internet and you’ve got a high-speed connection, then you’ve probably already listened to the radio through the Internet. But now you have a chance to use a long-awaited opportunity. You can both listen to and record the broadcasting stream to your hard disk.
Previously, in order to get into your possession a song that you liked on the radio, you had to look for it in the Internet or to purchase it in the shop, but now you just need to press Record and then you can find the song in the folder where you saved mp3 audio-stream. Moreover, the program will cut the stream into separate files itself and give the files correct names, including titles and performers. So, it’s not a piece of broadcasting that you get, but a complete mp3 collection. Intrigued? Wonder how a program can do such things? The miracle-maker is iRadio Lite from 3aLab. Previously all available internet radio rippers were able either to rip or to perform audio-streams. With iRadio Lite you get an opportunity to make it on the fly and at one and the same time. This revolutionary radio-ripping program has a lot of additional features, not available in previous programs of such kind. A number of radio stations don’t very much like the idea that they can be ripped, so they try to prevent recording by telling an ordinary listener from the one ripping the stream. In order not to confuse the station owners, iRadio Lite suggests such a feature as client identification modification. What does it mean? It means the program can present itself as WinAmp or RealOne Player. The station owner will think that it’s a player not a ripping utility iRadio Lite that is listening to the station. In my opinion, it’s only WinAmp that is as comfortable as iRadio Lite, for you can send it to system tray and keep on performing and recording audio-streams. If you’re just listening to the radio, not recording, then be sure to switch iRadio Lite off, for being left in system tray, iRadio Lite can chock up your hard disk with mp3 files. There’s nothing to be afraid of, but taking care won’t hurt. Listen to your favorite songs as much as you want (having saved them to the hard disk) but don’t forget about copyright :) Related Links:
