For Database Engines, Brilliant Is The Word (For Database Engines, Brilliant Is The Word)  For Database Engines, Brilliant Is The Word

Business
For years, Binary Brilliant has been combining intuition with innovation to design database creation software for the broadest range of users. Originally released in 2002, Brilliant Database Pro has evolved into a database design and utilization tool with users of all level of skill and diverse needs in mind.

Brilliant Database Pro is a unique end-user database creation software, combining the organization of data in folders and records on a tree format (like the one in Outlook Express™) with managing records of different types that may have many-to-many or one-to-one relationships. Each record in Brilliant Dabatase can accept file attachments, formulas similar to Excel™, and use over 20 different fields (images, texts, flags and so on). The program will manage even the largest databases, up to 4 GB. The database can be networked; access levels can be set up for each folder.

All aspects of a database are controlled through visual editors, producing forms, scripts, buttons, formulas, reports and even hot-keys, requiring no knowledge of programming. The built-in Report and Export/Import designers make quick work of exporting reports to paper, MS Word™, a web page and others, parsing text into database fields or importing photos directly from a scanner.

The latest release of this software includes improvements to scripting, e-mail export, and data sorting functions. The Script Designer produces scripts for automating tasks without needing programming skills, and the Sort Templates function creates templates to sort data by several fields at once. The e-mail interface now supports Outlook contact and distribution lists, and can send e-mail
directly through an SMTP server.
