New DLL components from SautinSoft give developers a reliable tool for automatic conversions of HTML and ASP files into RTF documents that can be used alone or as a part of third-party applications. There are two versions of the library– regular and professional. The regular version takes HTML sting and returns it as RTF string. All document settings – alignment, font properties (face, color size), hyperlinks, tables (including nested ones), special characters, encoding, etc – are inherited from the source document and can be easily adjusted, if necessary.
The advanced professional version allows users and developers to select between file conversion and string conversion. In addition, HTMLtoRTF DLL Pro converts images that HTML documents may contain (gif, png, jpg), has extra page orientation settings (Landscape or Portrait) and page size options (A4, B5, etc). Plus, it allows setting page margins. HTML tags and special symbols ( & <, � - ÿ 	 - я and others) are processed correctly by both versions.
HTMLtoRTF DLL is a stand-alone library that requires neither Microsoft Word nor any other word processor. The component is very small (145KB), and is exceptionally fast (10 pages/second). Output RTF files are smaller then their HTML sources. Importantly, the two DLLs are both COM objects that can be called from Visual Basic, VBA, C#, VB.Net, Java, Delphi and other programming languages.
