Before I start my narration about Blaze Media Pro, I want to underline that it’s not just a single program, but a collection of necessary tools in one.
Being a conservative man, I seldom change the choice I’ve once made. And if I get used to a program, then hardly anything can make me switch to another one, no matter how aggressively it is advertised. But a thought that now I no longer need to keep a heap of different programs on my computer but can replace it with just only one made me give my preference to Blaze Media Pro. And here comes the list of programs that were previously installed in my system: audio and video converters and compressors, disk burning tools, audio and video editors, and a series of other tools for multimedia processing.
Now you won’t find all these programs on my machine, since I have Blaze Media Pro installed. This program is a multipurpose one, and it let the developers occupy quite fat consumer market. For the price of just one simple program the consumer gets several in one.

Why do I praise this program? See yourself.

The program’s menu is divided into two parts and the first part contains almost all necessary for audio processing. The other part is dedicated to video processing. Let’s first talk about the audio part of the program.

Audio processing

Here I can easily and with no trouble grab audio tracks from CD’s onto my hard disk and convert them into such popular formats as MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV. Beside that, I can compress audio files, correct ID3TAG in MP3 files and even edit them using a full function Audio Editor.
Among additional features Blaze Media Pro provides Audio Merge option for audio files merging.
CDDB Information section can be helpful when you need to get information about audio CD’s from the Internet.
One more feature that may seem interesting for karaoke addicts – Lyrics Search, that may help you find lyrics for your favorite song. If you use Blaze Media Pro as a regular audio player then it is very convenient to find lyrics for the songs being performed.

CD/DVD managing

As I have already mentioned, the program can capture audio data from CD, but in addition it can burn disks of any format: CD-Audio, CD-Data, Video-CD, SVCD and DVD.

Now we move into the other part of Blaze Media Pro menu. This menu is built in concordance with the audio part. It is very convenient and makes the user’s interface structure most clear.

Video processing

Here you can find almost the same capabilities as in the audio part. Video editing, converting, merging and decompilation. Among the additional features we can point out the following: video capturing, batch processing and audio content extracting.

Blaze Media Pro (v.5.15) peculiarity

The program’s interface looks like that of a player but unfortunately you can use this program as a player only if you don’t use the computer itself :( Blaze Media Pro doesn’t provide any in-built MP3 player, but uses an external codec for MP3 files performing instead, and the memory buffer provided for codec purposes is too small. That’s why if you launch any other program or switch between different windows the program stars to hiccup. I hope that in the following versions of the program MP3 files performing will be implement at a higher level. (As an alternative I can recommend using OGG format for audio performing, because Blaze Media Pro processes OGG files with the help of its own internal player.)

If we regard Blaze Media Pro as a multimedia processing center and use the player only separately or for audio content checking, then the note about player hiccupping on widows switching becomes excessive and inappropriate.
Blaze Media Pro excellently performs its main functions and can be recommended to all users as an easy to use and convenient multimedia processing tool.
